Corporate Social Responsibility Index 2010

Each year, consumers are surveyed to determine which companies, specifically food and product manufacturers, are the most socially and environmentally responsibility. Consumer surveys are the heart and sole of the Corporate Social Responsibility Index.

The index is the brainchild of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and the Reputation Institute. Each corporation is given a grade 1 through 100. Only nine companies were given over a 75 last year; this year – 25.
