People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, GreenPeace, and two Anti-war organizations were under domestic terrorism investigations between 2001-2006. They’re conclusion was that there “little or no basis” for the terror investigations, and that they were “unreasonable and inconsistent with FBI policy.”
Reports are that two individuals from those organizations were even put on the terror watch list for nearly two years. Congress was provided with inaccurate and misleading information by the FBI Director, Robert Mueller.
